Each member of our team was born and raised in the Cleveland area and are proud to call Cleveland home. We are serious about helping other local small businesses succeed. And we always have fun while doing it!
Jim Conley, Owner & President
Jim was compelled to start Direct Connect in 1992 after working for a computer sales and service company in downtown Cleveland. His experience goes back to the early 1980’s when computers started to become “personal”. During that time he served in the US Army and gained valuable experience in the latest technology advances.
Jim offers his services in the areas of sales, consulting and help desk support. He is here to ensure that his customers are making the best choice when it comes to spending their IT dollars. When working with him, you’ll get the feeling that he’s really looking out for your best interest and will ensure that you have a comfortable experience in dealing with their team.
Sonya Conley, Operations Manager
Sonya joined Direct Connect in 1994 and also has 20 years of computer experience. She provides valuable office skills and oversees the day-to-day operations of Direct Connect. Sonya primarily handles all telecommunications and security related services that all small businesses need. That means she can analyze your phone and internet expenses and offer suggestions to save your company money. The other key area she can help you with is to provide you with a security solution (anti-virus) to ensure that your computers and business are properly protected from malicious threats. Her experience and understanding of small business needs have helped many companies throughout the years.
Ron Mullens, Lead Technician
Ron joined Direct Connect in 1996 and also brings decades of experience to the team. His experience with computers goes back to the 1980’s when Commodore was making computers (remember National Lampoons Vacation?). Ron’s expertise is in networking and break/fix for computer hardware and software. Ron’s knowledge and determination allows him to identify and fix most all computer problems your business may encounter. He is the cornerstone of Direct Connect’s service department.
